Medical Care

Jacelyn has a passion for humanitarian work and has followed God’s call to serve the underserved as a physician. Throughout her training she has found that high quality medical care is more and more available in large cities and hubs across the globe. This is amazing! There remains, however, a multitude of people who live a great distance from the nearest hospital or clinic and/or have no means to travel there. The less developed the nation or the more remote the community, the greater this distance may be. As a family medicine physician, Jacelyn wants to bring medical care to these populations. Perhaps we will serve best by remaining in one community, but we also dream of reaching out to multiple remote areas through a mobile medical unit.

Ministry

Having an intimate relationship with God leads us to spiritual healing, joy, and finding our reason for being alive! Nic will continue his teaching and speaking ministry, including his training on Theology of the Body, among the remote churches that our medical endeavors will bring us in contact with. For more speaking content than you can handle, visit Nic's YouTube Page. God’s Descent, Nic’s ministry curriculum, is well-equipped for use overseas (in addition to the US, where it is currently successfully implemented). It is particularly designed to provide faithful, yet untrained, volunteers the ability to deliver sound theological teaching in a small group setting. Each weekly lesson is based upon the Sunday Mass readings and the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which are uniform across the world. Here's an intro video that explains God's Descent. Nic looks MUCH older, now.

Mission Trips

We firmly believe in the value of short-term mission trips. Not only do these endeavors change the lives of those who are served through the trip, they profoundly impact those who do the serving. We will regularly host a variety of short-term mission trips, including medical missions, ministry teams, and humanitarian service trips.
